Capturing the Essence
Art is an artist's attempt to explain to the viewer what they feel deep inside. During my UC Davis-supported art residency at the London Royal Drawing School, I learned however I draw something, it all must serve to capture its essence. That's how I balance reality and imagination to bring joy and hope to uplift the viewer.
